Penile curvature is important to clinicians involved in assessing, diagnosing and treating andrological disorders, such as IPP or congenital recurvatum. New measurement techniques employ the relatively new technology of digital photography and software to form a virtual goniometer, to plane a surgical treatment. With this app clinicians gain 4 photos, for each patient, 2 pre and 2 post surgical treatment in anteroposterior and lateral projections, relatively to the penile curvature. With the app “I.P.P”, penile curvatures were measured directly on the screen. Then the data obtained from pre and post surgical treatment are compared, and are saved in a database, with the possibility of sharing and consulting immediately. The app “I.P.P.” considerably reduces errors, in particular equipement error, examiner error and biological errors, because with the app method you have an immediate feedback with the possibility of immediate correction and it was found to be repeatable and reliable (Carrino, Pucci et al.: Procedural considerations for photographic-based penile curvature measurements: a new  smartphone-based goniometer (I.P.P.)).
